ABOUT PATRICK
WHERE DID IT ALL START?
Utah based Artist Patrick Kendall has been drawing and painting nearly his entire life. He specializes in acrylic painting, but he is also passionate about airbrushing, watercolor, and pen and ink drawing. Early on, he was influenced by MAD magazine, especially artists Sergio Aragones, Don Martin and Antonio Prohias. Once he discovered comic books, Spider-Man became an instant favorite, with legendary artist Ross Andru standing out from the crowd. Along the way, Patrick discovered a passion for horror movies. His favorites include Creature from the Black Lagoon, Dawn of the Dead, Halloween, Frankenstein, and Creepshow.
ART HEROES
Patrick grew up being inspired by many artists, but his favoritesinclude Basil Gogos, Bernie Wrightson, Ghastly Graham Ingels and Ken Kelly.
MODERN ART HEROES
Patrick has been very lucky to sell his artwork next to many of my modern art heroes at various horror conventions. Many of his current favorites are Jason Edmiston, Ross Tallent, Bob Lizzaraga, Don England, Pete Von Sholly, WIlliam Stout, Eric Pigors and Ghoulish Gary Pullin.
